My band needs a bass player who can count to atleast four and not get lost during songs. I am a fantastic guitar player (some say the best around) that is the lead singer as well. It is my band and my way or the highway. I already have all the list of songs you will be playing. You just need to play them the way I tell you to play them. I'm booked through the entire summer with plenty of festivals as well. Me and the drummer are in our 40's. Blues type music so basically the bass player can sleep during the shows and still deliver a great show. Remember no one watches the bass guy anyways so I don't care how you look, just keep counting 1234.

This would be a great chance for you to play with a top notch band, and all you half to do is stand there with four strings and count to four. Pretty simple I would think. Did I mention you have only four strings with no chords to know or play anything faster then 8th notes. I'm not knocking bass players but come on this is as simple as it can get. Just listen to me and let me take you to the next level that even someone playing four strings can go. It's time for even you guys with four strings to look cool. Follow me and I'll do just that.

MUST HAVE FENDER EQUIPMENT!!! NO JUNK WHICH IS ANYTHING ELSE MAINLY thanks

Just in case the ad gets taken down. I LOVE THIS GUY. He's the guitar version of me!!!

I mean youngstown is known for it's crime scene instead of the music scene. but I see plenty of talented players in the area.

So all you guys that own anything other then a fender your terrible bass players and you should quit i guess.... haha

Yongstown? I might go try out for the second one.. Im a younger cat, play Fender equipment, and sleeping during the show would be awesome.

If the bass player could just sleep through the show and it be just as good why does he need a bass player? If its so easy why doesn't he do it? His intelligence shined when he said "all you HALF to do.."

Someone needs to get into that band and show up dressed like gene simmons since he doesnt care how you dress. Or pull a entwistle and dress up in a skeleton suit.

I might try out. just so i can meet him. and i'll document it on here.
I'm sure i've seen him around. it's a small scene. and I work at a music store some i'm sure i've sold him something... unless he's so good he goes to guitar center instead of indies.

Wow finally a guitar player worth coming back to Youngstown for. I would love to audition. Can you handle a bass player that plays 4-5-6-7-8-10 and 15 string basses? Can you you work in cool time signatures based on prime numbers such as 5, 7, 11, 13, 19 or 29? Can you handle a bass player can play 32nd notes? I played in Youngstown many years ago and do come back on occasion to play with friends. We will have to look you up. Only thing is when we play together I'm sure the audience will be watching the bass player burying another delusional guitar player.

Hey, I live about 25 miles east of Youngstown over the PA bordeer. This is interesting. And pretty pathetic.

Youngstown was just voted as the 18th worst place to live in the U.S. Doesnt surprise me any. That place is a dump.

Nice find BTW.

Do you frequently go to GC in Youngstown/Boardman?? I was just there on Saturday. I've been there every other week since Christmas. They're probably tired of seeing my face!

I usually stop at Five Guys Burgers and Fries while I'm there as well.
