I think it would have been funny if, midway through his solo he pauses to slightly adjust one of the tuners and then goes back to playing. Like that was the reason it sounded bad.

Like how Nigel did in Spinal Tap when he adjusted the tuning on the violin he was playing his guitar with.

Or better yet if at some point he said, "I'm known for my Solos."

Ok, so how many of you have either posted a comment about that particular video on Youtube, or even registered just so you could?
I commented there. My Youtube screen is Whizwerx. And I noticed someone here said the same "woodstock" comment.

It is obvious that neither of you have ever listened to real rap...The stuff he was playing might be suitable in a crappy rock/metal band, but rap? I have to say that most rap on mtv and stuff is pretty bad and I have no problem making fun of it, but there is a lot of good stuff out there and I can assure you that neither the good stuff nor the bad mtv crap sound like what that guy was playing.
