The thought that comes to mind is that if you play Rock Standards, you really have to pick your songs carefully, because once things go on the list they usually stay on there for a long, long time and they ARE the band's DNA. Just because you played Mustang Sally and Brown Eyed Girl the first time you got together to break the ice, it doesn't mean they have to go on your list.

I refuse to join a band that has them on the list, but I will play them if requested (especially by hot chicks).
