Haha, someone recorded a diss track to attack me

So I made this video a few weeks ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fet40KV7OIc - tried to make it as eye-catching and ridiculous as possible. Some people dig it, others really hate it.

About a week later I got this as a video response from I guess a fan of some of my old bands who really hates what I'm doing now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGpu36gmvFQ (some NSFW language, lyrics are in the description)

I laughed my ass off and wrote him a nice thank-you email. I gotta say it's very flattering to be dissed, even if he's so avant-garde that I can't tell how serious he is. But I guess dissing someone who's better-known works as a way of getting exposure, 'cause that vid has about ten times as many views as his other vids, some of which have been up for months!

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about some washed up nobody making that short vid... There are a thousand more things deserving of your time and attention then that joke of a guy.

Of course it's nothing to worry about, I actually got props from some "real" rappers for "being out there enough to warrant a diss track".

Me, I'm not sure if that diss is meant to be funny or not... But Goatbomb is meant to be fun. That's possibly slightly different than funny.

It's very real, and you can hear it too - I used the three-string neck to play the distorted melody in the refrain. It was made by Krappy - there's a Krappy klub in the Basses section, but most of them only have one neck! Hit Kevin up, he'll make you one with even more necks if you want.

We must be the only band who has a pointy-flame shaped doubleneck bass being played by cute girls in a video and nobody even notices because... wow, look, a tripleneck! LOL.

I think the winner of this arguement goes to GOATBOMB...and (if I have my count straight)...their 6 BASS NECKS amongst 3 BASSISTS...epic win over the "adversary" which reads like a drunk frat boy trying to explain their side...or if Insane Clown Posse with a bass and some bad quality audio tried to diss the Goatbomb....

Truth be told...i'm a bit of a fan of Goatbomb...Thank you Poland!!!

um, calling a webcam video on youtube a "track" is already funny enough as it is, but then getting a "dis track" that's some other random guy's crappy webcam video AND THEN writing about it on the internet like it's the next surprise kitty is just ridiculous.

let alone your seeming ability to find a way to mention your webcam video in so many threads that I'm starting to wonder if you're just some sort of highly evolved spambot created by the National Foundation for the Underachievers. We get it, all the cool smart kids who don't ever mention that they're smart or do anything to possibly let on to anyone else that they are smart because that would be pretentious are listening to your "tracks."

It is oddly likable. I think the bass player and girl vocalist have a future.
