Halloween Band Costume Ideas

Sign in to disble this ad
So we are a three piece jam band and need a simple but clever theme for costumes at the holloween show. We'll be having a guest Sax player (Ron Holloway) so I thought of the three of us wearing tuxedo t-shirts and putting Ron in a glitter jacket, but that got shot down.

Any idea's here?...

Wear white clothes with a red cross - you're a BAND AID!!!

Dress up as 2 Live Crew, Marilyn Manson, The Kinks, etc. - you're all BANNED!!!

Ooh dress up as crack rocks - you're not a rock band, you're a BANNED ROCK!!!

Dangit I can't believe I'm not rich already.

Is there anybody named Doug in the band?

If so, you can all dress up in hot dog costumes and call yourselves "3 buns and one hot Doug."

I always like dead/zombie rock stars. Plenty to choose from.

I've been trying to come up with an idea for over a month. I need to do something as cheap as possible without looking stupid. Any ideas?

I always loved the skeleton suit Entwistle used to wear. Unfortunately I don't have a Halloween gig this year.

A few years back I was playing keys (B3 + piano) for a Halloween gig, so I dressed up as the Phantom of the Opera. Dang, you can sweat a lot under one of those masks when you're under the Par 64's! Even though half my face was out in the open, the sweat was literally running out the bottom of the mask!

I think you should all dress like classical musicians of the day. White wigs and silk gay looking suits, and replace the keys with a harpsichord, etc... Always thought that would be funny, of course you need to play "Roll over Beethoven" and "Rock me Amadeaus" somewhere in there.

Wonder how it would be to play in stormtrooper armor...... Those are really cool, you could call yourselves the official band of the imperial forces......

Even better, dress as the band in the Mos Eisley Cantina.
