Has anyone ever put a cursed on a club....and it worked

Our band played a great first gig at this local club. Even the older folks stuck around till the end of the show and loved it not to mention the kids who all said we rocked the joint for the first time in a year. Needless to say we got booked for a second gig then got cancelled at the last minute because the club wanted to stick to a country music format. So our guitar player slim said I wish the place would burn down and the that very night it did. That'll learn em to never trifle with electric slims band.

I sure hope your guitar player has an alibi when the fire Marshall starts investigating for ARSON.

I've been cursing the same club on Wednesday nights for about 12 years now.

If you wait by the river long enough, you will see the body of your enemy float by.

My thoughts exactly!

Didn't put a curse on it, however a club we used to play frequently went out of business shortly after we last played there. They tried to stiff us by saying we didn't draw in the crowd they had hoped for. Funny thing was just about every one there that night were family and friends we brought.

Yes, well kind of. Several years ago i was playing in a classic rock band. I walked into a bar that had been advertising to open for months but had not to see if they were going to have bands.
The owner who was a nice women said "Yes" and we need one next week for our grand opening...can you do it? She was really nice and was almost begging us to play the gig with promises of future gigs etc. The band i was in was a bit green but we said "Yes". We did the gig for $200.00 and drinks to top it off it was St Patty's day night.

The clubs owners husband said we could use the house PA and patch our vocal effects into it. Our guitarist used to run sound and even worked with this guy on his house sound which the owners husband had no idea how to run. The Night of the show was a packed house and we do good ,folks are dancin drinkin ,bar killed, it did good. The owners were happy said we could come back anytime.

Problems began a week later when the owners husband called our guitarist to come down and look at the sound system. The womans husband still needed help running it. He again went over it with him, mapping it out etc. Our guitarist got out of bed to go down one night that he jacked it up during a late night of DJing. When we tried to rebook we got the cold shoulder and was told later thru the grapevine we messed up thre house PA Future calls we found out the nice lady was a @#tch and had just used us for her opening. She then only booked area bands she liked or knew of. I said it then i hope they dont last a year....they didnt closed in about 9 months

I've never cursed a club but I have cursed some evil people with death by cancer. Two of them actually developed cancer and died of it; one got it but beat it with chemo. Yes, I know it's not very nice, but these were very evil people who abused their kids.

Are you familiar with the Marx Brothers? Groucho once wrote that, after being mistreated by some vaudeville theatre management, Harpo would have said something along the lines of "I hope this place burns down". And it did.

And that was the last time Harpo said a word
