That there are just as much off-topic threads being created as there are every other type of thread? Moreover, am i the only one who thinks this is kinda weird? I mean, the site's called talkbass.com, not talkbassandothersubjectsnotassociatedwithbassatall .com.

So has anyone else noticed strange things around here? Complete the title sentence...

Most turtles ARE green! Lets start a "I like the color green and/or turtles club"! Tortoises are accepted too!

Typically this happens on really strong forums where people respect other users. I know when I'm at a show I talk to people about things other than the show. It's not called Livemusicandaskpeopleabouthowtheirlivesaregoingand whatnot. But I still ask them about it.

Hi.

Up until the change in post count policy, there used to be as much threads in OT as there was in Basses. At least it seemed so to me.

This is a community, and any community regardless of the field, becomes rather boring without a "venting" of some sort. Preferably not connected to the main intrest at all.

Personally I couldn't care less about 90% of the OT topics, but I have a simple solution to that: I don't click those threads .

Regards
Sam

That I don't care.

BTW, shouldn't this thread be in the Off Topic with the othersubjectsnotassociatedwithbassatall ?
