A long time ago, before the bassist got run over by a bus, they were really something. You had to be there I guess.

Not to knock Trujillo, really dug his ST and IG stuff, but he's not very Metallica sounding, but then neither is the rest of the band much anymore. Oh well.

Dont take me wrong, I know they have always been a great and huge influence amongst a lot of people, but I just am not a Metallica fan.

Im sure they are a great band, just not my thing.

When I first saw him in a poster, I thought who is this nimrod, and who just told him to turn it down again.

Here's wondering if the same face could be made if he weren't using the distortion, or if he could play a respectable solo without it.

I've never really been a big fan of trujillos style, he finds ways to make a 5-string sound BAD to me. Although I am someone who doesn't like the black album and all albums that followed.

@Robster he does kinda looks like a combination between a gorilla and caveman the way he plays all hunched over haha

I kind of like that tone. I wouldn't really care if it was clean.

Or is he making the face because he lost the groove at 0:26? (It takes a few beats prior to cue your mind up)
No dis-repect here, but I sure as hell lost it.

You say he looks retarded and sounds like crap but how much more money is he making than you are? Oh tons? Well, that solves that problem.

Don't say your tone is better than his even if it is, it's rather egotistical to do.
