| | | | No disrespect to Trujillo, I know he's an accomplished bass player, but that solo was just terrible. Bad tone, bad grove, no melody, incredibly simple, and just... boring. If I didn't know that was Rob, I would be offering encouraging words the retarded kid who's trying to play bass in the video. |

Don't say your tone is better than his even if it is, it's rather egotistical to do. | I'd rather be good and play enjoyable music than sound like crap and have money....
People are so materialistic its rediculous.

I bet you a million bucks we don't see eye to eye on those facts. Like people say, he's not only an accomplished musician, he is a bass brother.

People are so materialistic its rediculous. | I'd rather be making tons of cash playing music I enjoyed, as opposed to playing in bars on the weekends making beer money, and couldn't care less what some people on a forum thought of my playing. As long as the fans like it, I'm happy.
For the record, I play in bars on weekends making beer money... but still don't care what any one here thinks of my playing, our fans dig it and that's all that counts. Oh, and it's ridiculous.

I know he's got the Retarded Constipated Caveman thing going on, but you gotta give it to him... he does it well.
Every time that I see him playing he does something that makes me laugh. This clip is no different.
That's entertainment !!! |

I haven't spent one red cent putting him in that accomplished position. His accomplishments haven't done anything for me. |

| | | | Get off your high-horses, bassists. You don't have to like his tone, you don't have to like his band, you don't have to like him but he is a bassist and he's playing and he is making millions. He is successful and if you guys can't see that, then you really need to look at yourselves and others differently.

If you don't like him, fine. Then move along, there's nothing for you to see here. I happened to love ST growing up and think Trujillo is a damn fine bass player.
As an aside, I haven't liked Metallica since they came out with the black album, but can still respect the fact that they still sell out (pun intended) stadium after stadium.
