The ladies because of your fast fingers?

Ha ha, I have been approached a few times by ladies and in the conversation, they have mentioned they have been watching my fast fingers and had a few thoughts.......

Now me being a good boy, never used this to my advantage ;):rollno: ahem, cough

Just wondering, anyone else had similar experience?

Or any other success due to technique, on the bass :rolleyes:

I've had several girls mention my fingers after having seen me play and a few of them have told me that it gave them ideas... :eek:

I must be playing at the wrong places.

Maybe they think you guys would be outstanding nose pickers.

You guys must be young because a fat wallet trumps a fat finger every time.

A better question would be has anyone been UNsuccessful with the ladies because of rock hard calloused fingers?

I have had the same reaction from women before also. They were impressed with my plucking hand's dexterity. It sparked a conversation that led to me going out with them. (pick players take note) hahaha

One day, many years ago, before I was a creepy old horn dog, I was warming up for an outside gig. A very attractive and equally young girl sauntered up to me and asked 'Is that hard?' :ninja:

It sure helps with the gals who already "get" what a bassist is supposed to be all about, or are the more cerebral type. The airheads still go for guitards or drummers.

Ha ha so true! However I agree where are you meeting these women at? I have never had a woman come up and say that to me....oh wait I play with a pick mostly :bawl:

:-) as a Chick who plays bass, yes.
That's why I've always liked the bass players, and yes, we do have fast fingers, and i do use mine to my advantage. TMI?
