Last nights gig, a local club, we had a four hour gig scheduled 9-1 when a well known local guitarist who tours with the big stars occasionally stopped in.... and it went like this:

Drummer "Hi ___ " etc, etc. as they know each other "staying for the show?"

Guitarist "we just came by to try the salad dressing"....


POP! goes the ego bubble.


It was fine, as our guitarist takes lessons from him occasionally and says "the guy has a force field around him and I can't play when he's in the room........ "

Oh, you mean his AURA? :D

No food? Just salad dressing?

It's reeeeally good salad dressing.

'cause, you know, after you've toured with some big stars occasionally you get used the the reeeeally good salad dressing.

Guitarist is a Star Trek/Wars fan.... I DID mean FORCE FIELD.

Do the Ominous horns [circa TNG]accompany him ?

You need big time salad dressing money for that.
