He gets the women in the first row feeling his vibrations, and he hasn't even plugged in yet.

He once gave Victor Wooten lessons on "groove".

Even fretted basses have mwah in his hands.

Keyboardists have injured their left hand attempting to cop his basslines.

He can get a convincing upright bass sound while strumming an autoharp.

He is the most interesting bassist in the world.

"I don't always play the G string, but when I do, there's massive thump."
"Stay groovy my friends."

He wrote all the Beatles bass lines but remains uncredited

pioneered the use of the double slap little toe tap technique

Found the elusive Z note that sits somwhere after E or A

He once substituted for John Entwistle and Pete Townsend in the Who at the same gig - playing an acoustic bass.

He could destroy all beer bottles within 200 feet by strumming his low-end string.

"Stay groovy my friends."

He once soloed with such intensity that fully 6 of 10 young women in a nearby dormitory became pregnant...the dormitory of a nearby convent...

You know, we very well could be talking about DeluxeRed...

His style is so intimidating that by his mere presence, lesser bassists have given up music...some have given up on life...
