Hot, successful women love us!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
I posted this in the Bass Compliments thread, but decided to repost here.

Alright, I'm gonna make all you boys jealous now.

At our most-recent gig, which was in an very affluent part of town, we had a group of women show up. Very, very hot women. I'm telling you, these ladies were *stunning*! Probably five to 15 years younger than the women on "Housewives of Orange County" ('cept for Jo), roughly the same income bracket, hotter than any of them, and much, much nicer.

They loved us. They loved us like women love chocolate-dipped strawberries, "bad boys" and really awesome shoes. They danced like crazy, and got other women to dance, and drove the men wild. Which kept them there. Best gig we've ever had at this bar.

These girls looooooved me. This beautiful British girl ran up and hugged me and told me I was brilliant, just brilliant, wonderful, best bass she'd heard in a long time. Then her gorgeous local friend hugged me and told me how thrilled she was to see women up there truly playing hard, really doing it, not just looking cool while the guys do all the playing, and that my bass playing was amazing, and that she and her friends would be back every time we played there.

Then she booked us for her housewarming party. She's single, very successful, and has the money to pay *well*. She's just purchased a large home in one of the wealthiest areas around here...on her own.

Not one of them said anything dumb like, "Wow, that's a big guitar!" They all knew exactly what I was doing and were listening for the bass lines as much as for the guitar leads.

They loved our singer, our drummer, our songs...everything. Best fans ever! If I were male and single, I would have myself some reallly-truly groupies right now.

They bought us so many drinks, we barely touched our $50 bar allowance. They put beaucoup dollars in the tip jar. And they're coming back!!! YAY!!!

They can certainly afford to! If I ever hear them planning a trip to your neck of the woods, I will tell them to go to your show!

Why don't threads like these have pics? I'm so sick of looking at images of Ampegs all the time...

If any girl was to tell me I'm brilliant, I'd probably die from shock!

I'm getting my taxes done today, and when we get our refund, I *must* have a digital camera. I feel so, like, mid-20th century without one. Next week, I'll take a pic of our lovely fans. They were the nicest, friendliest "hot girls" I've ever met! Their pic belongs on our MySpace!

I just about did...from that, and the heavy-duty hugging that cut off the oxygen to my brain. That girl was pretty strong! LOL!

Seriously, these are very good fans to have, and not just because they're beautiful and fun, and get the men to stick around, trying to dance with them. They have money, and they know a lot of people who have *big* money. It pays to be well-connected. If those good connections are also very beautiful, even better!

You got it baby!!!

None of these women are on MySpace! They think its all a bunch of teenagers trying to hook up. So, I disabused them of that notion, and encouraged them to go look at our page, and to join up so we can visit over the computer.

They know a lot of people, and will bring them to the shows. Since this is in a very big-money area, they are a great connection to have and so very easy on the eyes! Its kinda like Austin's version of Laguna Beach or Coto. Very affluent, lots of beautiful people. I'm just glad they were so nice. Hotties like that aren't usually so nice to me. Must be the bass that does it!

Heck, she bought me two beers and a shot of Jack. She had to have been using her own money, 'cause I'm a musician, and therefore have no money. LOL!

It seems that women in general love you. I believe I recall you telling a story about a lesbian that wouldn't quit at one of your gigs
