How I spent my Christmas Eve (Video Content)

I spent the majority of my time Christmas Eve at church playing in the praise band. Someone captured a video of us playing a TSO song. Here is it is, warts and all: https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...v=Hbh8jgYjgo0#!

It was a loooooong day, but I had a gas!

She has this weird electric violin thing that attaches to her shoulder. It's weird to look over at her when she's not touching it and it looks like it's sticking out of her neck!

Wow, impressive show. I've got to ask -- do they use the lasers and light effects and stuff during a Sunday service too? holy crap.

The ground fog and the snow machine (Not used in the video) were rentals. They own all the rest of the lights, but I think the tech guys spent a few extra hours on this light show.

Thanks for the positive comments! This was a lot of fun to play, but I didn't play anything perfectly last weekend. The clams you play sound bigger in your own head I guess

That's a church? Sure is different from the Quaker Meeting I attend.

You're thinking of the Amish. A common mixup. I even have zippers on my clothing. Heck, I might try velcro one day.

Actually, a bit of a sore subject among the Friends.

Sorry, done with the hijack. It is a very cool show.

No, I'm sorry. I really wasn't sure if you were yankin my chain or not. No disrespect intended.

Is there a "ask a Quaker anything" thread? I honestly don't think I've ever actually met a Quaker up close and personal.

No apologies, please. I am not offended in the slightest. I meant my original comment in a light-hearted way.

I have attended large modern churches in the South and the services are impressive. The music can be very moving and inspiring. Your band's performance ranks up with the best I have seen. Thanks for sharing the video.
