Talkbass is for when you're playing bass and then suddenly wonder something you don't know the answer to IMO.

Of course then again I always end up browsing through the newest posts...like this one.

You can go from excellent true craftsman build bass guitars, excellent reviews to a myriad of silly questions and the ultimate Infomercial bass the SX.

Honestly, right now, I talk bass more than I'm playing bass. Gigs have been slow for me of late.

Well, although I have a bass at work, I don't play it much while I'm on TB, but I do play while I'm on at home.

I probably log more TB hours than on bass, simply due to the amount of hours at work.

Today just happens to be one of the days where I'm not playing more than Talking. The HVAC guy is here to repair my air handler, and I don't want him to suffer my playing.

Just like the above posts, if I'm at work, my computer is on. If my computer is on, TalkBass is on, although I'm not actively surfing TB all of that time. I'm at work about 10 hours per day most days.

No internet connection at home, and I only work 3 days a week. I play bass 5 or 6 days a week. Still, it's almost even for me, but actually playing wins by a slight lead.

It's probably about even for me. I put in 8+ hours a week playing bass, not counting gigs (about once a month), but I go on TB everyday, usually at work to kill time
