If you spend 2 grand on a lightbulb but only turn it on when you're alone in your parents basement is it ever really on?

Did you see that Bulb that Dark Horse made from tinfoil, old bublegum and an RC Cola bottle he had laying around? 'Took him two days from start to finish, sounds great, and has mojo coming out the wazoo. I swear, that guys a genius.

I heard Timmy C gathered special sand, grain-by-grain, from Okinawa and crafted his own glass for his bulbs.

I heard he has bulbs that have fillaments that don't go anywhere, just to keep people guessing how bright his rig will go.

Is any of this true?

It's your bulp, you can modify it as much as you want. Just take care that everything is reversible in case you ever have to sell it.

Also, I heard that my light bulb might be 'starved' because it has an external power source. Do you think it likes pizza?

I'm having a heck of a time getting 'incandescent' correct.

So my band was playing this outdoor venue last week and this so-called musician in the band before us couldn't get his bulb bright enough to be seen on stage and he asked to borrow my '53 all original GE T-bulb and I refused and he got all pissed off about musicians sticking together but is it too much to ask someone who knows they are playing outside to bring their own gear that will work or am I just being paranoid that he would burn out my priceless bulb?

Let's start a bulb building competition. We'll have two classes - incandescent and fluorescent. No, we better make that three so we can get the LED guys in there.

Nope, gotta be four, now that I think of it. Can't leave the neon guys out, either.

Absolutely NO arc lights.

iJazz - Winner by popular vote in each category.

Five, neon short and long scale, if the demand arises.

iJazz - Light is a cruel mistress.
