How many TBers does it take to change a lightbulb?

How many TBers does it take to change a lightbulb?

1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed

14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently

7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs

6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ... another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid

2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp"

15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct

19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a light bulb forum

11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum

36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty

5 People to post pics of their own light bulbs

15 People to post "I can't see S$%^!" and their own light bulbs

7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs

4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's

13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too"

5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy

4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"

13 to say "do a search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs"

1 to bring politics into the discussion by adding that George W. isn't the brightest bulb.

4 more to get into personal attacks over their political views.

1 moderator to point out that changing the lightbulb is only as good as the effort you put into it....and then lock the light bulb thread.

1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again.

8 - 1 to change the bulb, 3 to go on about how they did it just as well with their Asian knockoff brand bulbs, another 3 to defend their higher end bulbs by saying that it makes them more comfortable to screw in, and one to see the whole thread and GAS over MTD bulbs.

You forgot about the 5 people who will say that the foreign made bulbs (that were previously made in the USA) have horrible quality control and are no longer living up to the name they used to stand for.

Also, the 80 people who will say that Brand B light bulbs are just copies off of Brand A bulbs, and last only a limited time due to cheap construction and materials, despite some Brand B bulbs lasting years without a problem.

two more ask whether the light bulb impedance is too low and will burn his mum's house down

three more asking whether to plug them in in series or parallel

200 to say that the MarkBass LMII can do it all by itself with the punch of a SS head, but with the warmth of a tube.

You forgot to add Major Metal screaming "Metallica!" and uttering random Metallica lyrics in the process.

3 to troll the thread for no other purpose than to annoy the most opinionated members of the thread

Another moderator to ban the trolls

14 users who add nothing more than a thinly veiled reference to an adult activity.

1 user who tries to hard to be relevant and makes mention of the Qintar

2 to argue the fact that light bulbs made on CNC machines are inferior to those made by hand and another 4 to argue whether Korean made light bulbs are just as good as US made ones, as long as they come over here to be set up.

Six more to offer their views which kinds of filaments in the bulbs would best do the job.

You're forgetting 25 people starting an argument over which provides better, more authentic light: regular filament or fluorescent bulbs =)
