I must add that there were at least 20 people at the club who skipped the cover at the door somehow but we didn't care, we were thrilled to play in front of people..........good times! |

Of course I'm only 17 now and lucky enough to have built a network from that show alone to provide many paying gigs nowadays. |

| | Yeah, I've got the moves like Jagger. | | Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: G.R. MI | | 1st paying bar gig? It was 1989 or 1990, and we got paid $100.00 a night per man and it was a 2 night gig. I was so geeked up to have $200.00 of free money that I went out and bought myself a watch. A pretty sweet watch at that. My reasoning was that I'd have that watch for a long time (Still do but it puked last summer) and I wanted something that I could hold onto longer than a sack or a bunch of beer.
These days I average about $100.00 a night per man 2 nights per weekend, and I buy a bunch of beer instead of anything concrete.....
