Do you have a myspace? | The tour, if it happens (still not definite), would be from the end of February through the end of May.
There's a link to our MySpace is in my original post...although, like I said before, I don't like the recordings on there. They were made with the old bass player and the vocals came out kinda whiney. We're just now starting to work on a full album with the current lineup. But we sound much better live anyway, so I guess you'll have to come out and see the show!
We have a few gigs in Manhattan coming up, they're all listed on the MySpace (next one is Jan 3rd at the Bitter End). Anyone in the NYC area is welcome to come and your attendance would be greatly appreciated.

And, also mentioned in the OP, we played the Fillmore at Irving Plaza this past Saturday (the 28th). The suits were nicer, the crowd was bigger and AMAZINGLY energetic, and we even got one of our friends to wear an actual Penguin costume. He danced on stage and during our heavier songs got in the crowd and started moshing with some friends of mine.
Overall it was a 10, absolutely incredible. Now, still going with this band The Energy (who I thank endlessly for bringing us along), may be taking us to the one and only Roseland Ballroom. We're taking off for most of April, but we have a few good shows lined up in May and June. Check our myspace ( www.myspace.com/thepenguinrevolution1) for shows and pics from Irving Plaza (right now there's only about a dozen that our Sax player's boyfriend took, but we have tons taken by a photographer friend that will be up in a day or 2).
As always, anyone who lives in the NYC/Long Island area is more then welcome to come.

OK, I realize this my 3rd consecutive post, but what the hell.
Just found out that we have some video footage of our Irving Plaza gig!
Hope you like it:
This was our opening song (missing the first 10 seconds or so): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYZnByQt9Y4
(note the guy in the penguin costume)
And this was towards the end of our set, but the beginning and end of the song got cut off. Eh, no big deal. the song's only about 3 minutes altogether. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRWC-...eature=related
I'm rockin the white linen suit on the the right side of the stage, kinda hard to hear the bass in this vid so crank it up!

Last time I saw those guys, we played a show with them in Hoboken, New Jersey. It appears that they're working their way down the east coast. I wish them well, they're great people and they helped us out HUGE!! They gave us 2 incredible gigs that, in all honesty, I doubt we can ever top. In other, sadder, news, that potential Roseland gig is apparently not happening. We haven't talked to them since that Hoboken gig and I just cannot imagine ever EVER EVER playing another gig as unbelievably amazingly perfect as the Irving Plaza show.
I don't think you can tell from the videos, but that place was f***ing PACKED, and that's a pro-level venue. Now that's a feeling that most people don't get to experience. God, I'll never get over the fact that I actually played on that stage. (don't mean to gloat or anything, sorry if I'm coming off like that but if anyone else has ever played to a sold-out venue of that size, you know how good it feels)
edit--Just watching that first video again, I forgot about something hilarious that happened. In the beginning of the song, you can see Kevin (the singer) taking off his hat and frisbee-tossing it into the crowd. I'm not on camera during that part, but I was laughing my a$$ off cause the hat skimmed off some guy's head like he was skipping a stone and disappeared in the crowd behind him. The guy wasn't paying attention and just gave everyone a confused "what was that?" face. I actually missed a part in the intro because I was laughing: Right after that part there's a brief pause in the music, the whole band stops for an instant just before the vocals come in. I'm supposed to play a 3-note fill right there, but I completely missed it, leaving a second of dramatic silence in it's place. I think it worked out OK.
