Brittany/the yeti
NONA/BassAgent
Sabra/JdoubleH
Having posted this, I must say that it was refreshing to play a gig without singerbabe, earlier, this week. It was just guitard and myself, at our favorite wine bar, and we let our hair down, trying some new things on the fly (with my quickly written chord chart cheat-sheets), and no tempo tantrums, song-ending giggle-fests, or any other symptoms of diva disease manifesting themselves. Call me sexist, if you will, but there is a grain of truth to Gene Simmons' famous ruminations about rock & roll being a man's game.
This coming Tuesday will see us playing a special tasting at this wine bar, which has already posted a YouTube vid to advertise it. With the free wi-fi, and drummerman's new awesome video recording device, I am thinking live netcast, via Veetle. Approximate start time would be 6pm PDT (GMT-8), on Tuesday, May 8th, via my channel, TeleVastnir, if I can make it happen.

as long as i get a chance to chat up nona's singer (is it deidre?) i'm good.
just figured if my man BA was traveling that far he might as well make a night of it. and if he gets tired i can (try to) fill in for a bit.

I'll see what I can do about some linkage, and perhaps some more photographic evidence of her crimes of distraction. | Being on stage with her, how do you manage to even play your bass?

I can take enjoyment later, when listening to the recordings. The real fun is what does not come over the mains (too loudly, that is), like this exchange, from last weekend:
Violinist: I don't like sausage (telling friend about pizza order).
Me: That's NOT what you told me!
Her face turned as red as a beet for a second. We won't be playing "Something to Talk About," for the near future.
BTW, those proposing a BassAgent/Yeti ticket for POTUS should remember that BA is not eligible...but I am.

EDIT
They are friends of mine, and the younger woman is, well, young, and trying out new looks, so I am removing the picture to avoid further criticism.

And you would be referring to the Guy Fawkes mask.

Tonight, #1 (karaoke hostess, pictured below) is covering for #3 (the violinist), due to the last-minute nature of the booking. We will play a full band show with the violinist, Saturday night, and Sunday will be the debut of #4 ("Red" in the CAS thread pix c. 4/20).
Meanwhile, this, and two others appeared on YouTube, today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqS5eOZi4yc
