I actually like color coordination if things aren't coordinated it throws me off.

So you prefer complimentary rather than matching colors.

If the carpet's not going to match, then I'd rather just have hardwood floors.

It's 2013

carpets have been out of style for years.

I like a small area rug.

A small throw rug or hall runner is fine too. Maybe a little fringe.

Rehearsed with this girl today, playing the first show on Friday, can't say anything about carpeting.

Only a few more posts remain in this thread, and I have updated the membership list. It makes sense to publish it as the first post of a new thread, with the first post also containing the pix that justify the charter members and honorary charter members.

In reviewing this thread, I have noticed that pklima has a very solid body of work herein. If I can get a second, from a fellow charter member, I would like to confer honorary charter membership upon him. Agent? yeti? Can I get a second?

The new thread will launch within the next 24 hours.

Wow, thanks guys. I'm a small-time amateur even by bar band standards, but I guess my steadfast refusal to work in lineups without singerbabes pays off. I seriously haven't played a gig without at least one woman on vocals since 2010.

OK, I am nearly done with compiling the new thread, and pklima is now an honorary charter member by unanimous vote of the charter membership (congratulations, sir).

The new thread will be up within another hour's time; as soon as I can do the charter and honorary charter members sufficient justice.
