Maybe we should hook him up with the kid who thinks he's the best bassist in Fresno and they'll destroy each other in an ego explosion.

That darn Craig's List (cue studio laugh track and applause)! I wonder what kind of work you can get being a bassist/sitarist? I mean, I tried the bassist/hurdy gurdy thing but it did not increase my writing skills or my prospects for work. I don't think it's working for that guy either.

If somebody chained this guy to a car and dragged him through broken glass I would smile. Humility is very important to me.

The same goes for the Fresno kid. Good Lord! I just don't understand some people.

My favorite bit is the "amatuers only" thing. Why do I have the funny feeling it's because pros know better than to put up with his crap?

Dont try and take the rap for my ad! It was I, and I'm better than all of you, JT only plays an 9string, I play a 23 string upside down, I'm blind and only have one hand, and I play at 600bpm

Actually, the bass player for this guy:

plays a sitar solo during their set. Check out the 5th picture down
http://www.angelo.com/html/2004_road_photos_7.html

That guitarist was the wildest thing I've ever seen. He was pulling off Thin Lizzy/ Iron Maiden harmonized guitar solos using those two necks of the guitar. Left hand on the left neck, right hand on the right neck, at the same time.

I was at that show. But you can only put up with so much wankery, as amazing as it was, I went to drink beer with friends.

Craigslist is a nonstop font of hilarity for me.

900 "bands" (one guy with an MPC) with "industry contacts" (slept with intern at Sony) and exactly the same influences (Fugazi, GBV, Flaming Lips, Jeff Buckley) all looking for bass players (four strings only) and drummers (no mercs).
