I had a dream

I had a real dream last night that I was trying out a Steinberger in the store for the very first time. I didn't like it by the way...

Anyone else have any amusing dreams about the bass?

Yeah just one. I was trying out a bass in a store, not sure the brand but it was a classic sunburst type.

But I couldn't hear it for the bloody shredder belting out lines next to me.

So I shouted out to him to shut up and shocked, he did.

Then I looked down to play the bass and it was now a red SG400 6-string or something like that.

And while I can't in real life, I could play it like I was born to play. It was like a lucid dream where I'd think "how about x song" and I could play it. This went on for about 4 snippets of songs, everyone in the store was like wow around me, then I woke up wondering what the heck that was all about, while admiring my own wood

I had a dream that I was in guitarcenter and walked into the bass room and it was very dark and irie and all the basses were surfboards with clocks in the middle. and for some strange reason I thought that they were still cool guitars. wierd huh?

Not slab bass oriented but...

I had a dream that I was playing some fellows upright and it had the most amazing strings on it. They were absolutely phenomenal. They were quite literally my dream strings. I remember waking up telling myself that I had to remember to look up what strings were synthetic, clear with a green core, and had purple windings at the end. I was pissed at realizing that those strings were just figments of my imagination.

I've had several dreams involving basses and/or bass playing. I can't remember them enough to tell about them though.

Sometimes I dream that the neck is either broken or all rubbery.

Have dreamed that the strings were all tangled up.

I always sleep with music on, so if I have a bass-related dream, it's always of me playing whatever song is on on stage. I never remember what basses I use though. I have had a couple dreams where I was playing guitar and my guitarist was playing bass.
