I had a good weekend!

It seems like I've been doing a lot of venting/complaining recently, so I wanted to post something positive. This weekend was great! We played at 2 cool venues both with stage, sound and lights so we didn't have to mess with any of that crap. We had a good turnout both times and the people enjoyed our music. We all played pretty well (not perfect but so what), we got paid with no hassles, and everybody had a good time. Some things went wrong, like I broke a string and had to spend an entire 20 minute break replacing it because I installed my synth pup to block the bridge (duh!), and my guitarist backed out of a gig I booked next month, but overall this was exactly the type of weekend that I'm in a cover band for. Woohoo!
