Heh. Some of the comments are like, "get strap locks dude", but that might not be the problem. I've flipped a bass with strap-locks and managed to rip the strap-lock screws right out of the wood. Lesson: don't flip anything you can't afford to wreck.

I've nearly lost a bass or two while jumping around on stage a few times. I always managed to catch them and continue playing, with some effort, propping it up with my leg. I've never thought to try and spin the thing though. Basses are just too heavy for that.
