I was chillen' with a drummer, and was gabbin' about the 1st, 2nd inversions of some chords, and I busted out this really rhythmic something or other that resolved into B minor... It was NICE, could I do it again? Prolly not. It was my first too...

Rarely do "the others muzoids" call for (or allow) a bass solo...so enjoy it while you can.
Perfect example, the finale of "School of Rock" ....no bass solo, yet even the backup singers get one.
So be it,
I recently did a rehearsal with a Blues Brothers clone, and smoked every one of Duck Dunn's lines, then we just jammed some Jazz and Blues afterwards, and not once did they call for a bass solo, although there were plenty of keys/drums/harmonica/gtr/vox solos......dang....atleast I outplayed the lot of them ....hehehehe |
