So no one's home and i decided i was going to turn up my rig past '1'....
so i play through a Genz Benz shuttle 6.0
with a GK 4x10 unported and a Aguilar GS112 together to push 600 watts.
Anyways the way i got the preamp and eq set, with my new lakland 55-01 this rig has nice thumpy dub/motown sound and i turned it up... started grooving and i look up and theres a crack in the wall!
I had the master volume @ 4 or 5 LOL, i mean it was entirely too loud but damn, didnt even really have it turned up... This house is old and crappy(thankfully i'm moving out in 2 weeks) just though it was funny. This house can't handle the thump of my Reggae bass!

When I had an SVT-4 and a 2x15 fridge it would make all the windows in my house rattle. I never pushed it enough that they'd actually break loose/shatter though.

I can't wait to get out it somewhere and really open it up.

I had ten days to try it before deciding if I would keep it. I lived in a basement aprtment with my landlord directly upstairs. I turned it up to a healthy volume, started playing and immediately got a phone call. A panicky shrieking voice on the other end: "JmJ stop it stop it! The whole house is shaking, what are you doing?!" I kept the amp

Don't know exactly how [or if] to tell 'rents... Its funny, its not like one of those moments when you hit the window with a baseball- where you know what [and who] did it. This, I'm not so sure... You guys won't tell, right?

They had a huge back yard so we were able to really open up our amps. At the time I had two 18" cerwin vega's, two 2x15's cabs and an 8x10's cab with somewhere around 1500 watts to push them. We just got cooking into the 4th song when the home owner came running over waving his arms, it turns out the siding of the house was coming loose! The singer did siding and roofing for a living, went to his truck and got a few things and fixed the siding and we went back to playing, but we were forced to turn down a bit.

I can hear the crew leader now: "We need a few more DB's at about 80 Hz, that back wall is stubborn, can you guys open up your amps a little more"?

Pretty sweet though, until someone screams at me to turn it down.
