No racism intended, and the guy actually has some other decent videos, but I found this one hilarious.

Hmmm... I see I need to talk more in my instructional videos, instead of just demonstrating the techniques.

LOL ! Love the "Lawnmower" & "Double-Team" !
At least (it seems) you've got a sense of humor.
The "Rick James" guy is totally serious about it.

I'm pretty sure someone who's never picked up a bass before can slap on it like that. That was a very poor demonstration of slap technique, in my personally opinion.

I guess it's theoretically possible to find a video posted by "Expert Village" in which the presenter actually possesses expertise. But, I won't be holding my breath.

Sometimes you can't judge a book by its cover....notice he played on the original with Allan Holdsworth....

Ha, that's probably the simplest explanation for everything. Both of them sure look mellowed out.

Ha. He's doing basically the same thing I am, which is playing simple conventional parts in controlled but totally inefficient ways... basically lots of extraneous movement.

That's totally different than the infamous Korean drummer who doesn't exactly keep his playing simple the whole time. Also cool, though.

Hmmm... with French grip you could actually do what I did and more - you could also play standing on the other side and facing the bass. So you could make really big circles around the bass, and play it from both sides as you pass by. That's also doable with German but would be harder and you can't get as much distance.
