If the drummer knocks your LM2 off the cab...

...and on to the stage, shouldn't he have the courtesy to tell you about it?

He tripped over the cord which pulled the amp onto the ground, so he picked it up and put it back on the cab. I know all equipment gets nicks and scratches eventually but I at least like to be the first one to mark up my own gear.

damn!

that reminds me of one time when someone dropped one of my bass cabs - ON MY FOOT.

I wish they would've been so kind as to tell me about it.

Would never happen with my Yorkville. The cable would break first.

When I was playing guitar in one of my old bands, the other guitarist was pissed at the end of the set because his guitar was ****ing up so he threw it (this was the second time he'd done this), but in the heat of the moment he shoved my vintage Sovtek Mig 100 right off my cab, it still doesn't work. Which is funny because I had beat that thing to hell... I'm very physical(and used to drink a lot at shows) and have fallen into my amps so many times I've lost track, but the one time HE knocked it over it went kaput. That was our last show with that band and I haven't needed that amp since, so not too big of a deal. Plus I still play with the guy AND he's one of my closest friends. lol

I thought about that. If that had been an SVT up there it would have simply unplugged the IEC connector (if SVT's had IEC connectors). OTOH, if the SVT had fallen from that height it would have been severely damaged. The LM2 is so light that (as far as I can tell) it only received some corner scratches and marring. He said he thought it was my wireless unit that went flying. Drummers.

Get an SVT panzy!!! If a drummer trips on it, you will be looking for a new drummer
