If you met any bass player and had 30 seconds to say or ask what you wanted, who would you meet and what would you say to them?

McCartney. Because I've been a huge Beatles fan since I was 11, and I'm a lefty bass player. I'd ask him for money, lol. Actually, I'd probably just waste it with stupid small talk.

McCartney. I'd stand there and stare at him, then I'd say something brilliant like, "Hey, it's f***ing Paul McCartney! I'm a bass player too!!"

Honorable mention would be Jack Bruce.

John Myung or Billy Sheehan. I'd ask them if they would jam with me.

Tony Levin

And my question would what he has done that he feels has been the most helpful in getting to be the player he is.

Bootsy Collins and I'd ask him if he thinks that the north american free trade agreement has been successful in aiding the exportaition of goods since the recent increase in production job outsourcing to lower wage countries? Or, can I have a pair of your sunglasses?

Stu Hamm. I'd just let him know how much I respect and admire him and what a big influence he's been on me as a bass player.

Hmmm

Well, normally I would say I would love to have me a chat with that wacky Les Claypool, but I've heard very mixed feeling on him as a "dude" so I guess for right now, I'd say prob. Liam Willson from Dillinger Escape Plan. The Guy has chops like you wouldn't believe, and somehow manages to create a groove amongst all the chaos that is DEP.

Either Cliff or Juston Chancellor

I'd probably ask either of 'em to jam. Cliff would probably hate me for using a pick though lol!!

LOL!! Sorry it's funny and not funny at the same. Oddly enough "...And Justice For All" (the album) just started playing.
