At the last gig, my guitar player showed up with a Mesa Boogie D-180 bass amp, with the optional graphic EQ, in great condition. He bought it for bass, but decided he likes how it sounds as a guitar amp. I'm not very jealous. No, I am
insanely jealous. If I didn't hate him before, I do now.
*sulk*
(On the side of positive karma, he blew the speakers in his cab by the end of the gig...and ended up using my bass pedalboard to finish out the set. Rocktron Silver Dragon -> EBS Bass Driver -> Markbass Super Booster makes a fair to middling guitar sound, which of course was pure torture for him as it was not perfect.

And the drummer was completely trashed by the middle of the first set, which punished all of us to some extent...)
Edit: I know, I'm just complaining. It just hurts so much. Even through the ear plugs.
Update: this weekend, he blew another cab, rated at 800W RMS. That D-180 puts out some serious wattage! He insisted that it must be putting out DC, that's the only way it could be blowing speakers. ...um, dude...it's transformer-coupled.
