Late Saturday night I get a call from a friend asking if I can fill in at a TV taping on Sunday for a poetry show. Since I'm cool with one of the poets, I agree. When I get there, I'm greeted by Robert Townsend, who's hosting the show and it's also on his network. VERY cool and funny guy. We taped 3 episodes, and I had to take a bass solo in 2 of them. All and all, it was a very cool gig. I'll let you know when it airs.
