I'm afraid I'd have to lie to my wife. "Yeah honey. Got a gig tonight down at the homeless shelter..."

Gunna have to lengthen the old strap a few notches to get the bass a little lower.

Actually played regular in a strip bar in OK in the 80's. Cool gig , but wound up facing away from the stage to play. To many distractions! Ah What Key were we in? What song were we playing!

Used to play club gigs in the 80's through BC (Western Canada). Strippers would do afternoon/early evening shows, and bands in the evening. They typically got paid allot more than we did, so it used to make for some fun partying.

Ok, so the job involves me playing bass, getting paid (apparently well), and surrounded by nudity. I'm struggling to find the negative side aboutthis job.

Oh yeah, I couldn't accept the job as the wife probably wouldn't approve.

If a stripper's not earning more than the bass player, she chose the wrong profession. lol

Yeah, that would be my luck. She rarely comes out to see us play, but that would be when she decided to do so for sure...
