Title kinda gives away the story. Last night, another dive bar gig. We like the place, enthusiastic crowd, etc. As usual a rather impaired woman finds my singer/guitar player to be the best thing since sliced bread. He's married. Of course, this all starts when she asks to sing a song and he lets her (big mistake).

The night progresses and she jumps on stage a few times and gropes him, falls to her knees and performs some sort of ritual swaying dance with the waving arms (i think i've seen this one on the discovery channel). The drummer and I are in tears we are laughing so hard.

End of night she is all over the guy, her ride gives her a final warning audibly and then splits. 5 min later she tells my GP that her "so called friend" ditched her here. Still not sure if she jumped on his hood or forced her way into his car. Maybe i should call him to see what happened.

Oldest groupie trick in the book. The 'ride' leaving was prearranged so she could beg the guitar player for a way home.

Yeah, didn't help that he drives a Mercedes SUV. She may be clinging to the underside of the car as we speak.

I'd find the story much cooler if he wasn't married. He knows better than to let that get carried away. I was in a band with a d-bag guitarist/singer who had a girlfriend....and a wife. His wife was friends with the drummer's wife. Long story short: his adulterous affair split up our band...and consequently costed us money. Hope your friend has better sense.
