my teacher told it to me when i started watching jaco.
we both think that jaco is one of the best bass players ever or at least one of them. so:

how many bass players does it take to switch a light bulb?
10.
1 that will switch the light bulb and 9 to look at him and say that jaco would have done it better.

hope i made at least on of you laugh^^
thats the goal:P

bass on!

I find it funny based on the adulation he receives.

I personally don't care for Jaco.

Is this a thread where we all make Jaco jokes, or is it one where we just read the one by the OP?

Or at the very least he would have been one of the first to tell it with any conviction ; }

Reminds me of this one...

How many country singers does it take to screw in a light bulb?

4

1 to screw the light bulb in, and 3 to sing about how much they loved the old one.

How many bass players does it take to change a lightbulb?

Ah, forget it- the keyboard player does it better with his left hand.

How many guitarists does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Just one to hold it...since he's expecting everything else to revolve around him...

I do, but I sure can't play like Jaco. Not that I idolize him anyway.

But my '65 Precision qualifies: Pre-CBS, nitro, clay dots.
