It's from the latest episode of Kaichou wa Maid-sama (ep. 21) which is a romantic comedy (no music involved), and this scene here was a really random line said in the beginning of the episode.
Maybe it's just the K-ON influence. |

I don't remember seeing jazz basses with the inlaid MOP blocks in the fingerboard before 1968, and I think that feature started with the CBS era.

They only throw musical terms out there once in a while as attempts at getting certain people interested enough who might be susceptible to the moe moe.
K-on ain't about music, sucka. K-on is Lucky Star with guitars. YEAH, I SAID IT

Oh yeah, I was kinda disappointed K-On wasn't as much about music as I expected, but I still enjoyed the **** out of it.
Haven't watched the second season yet... but I'm hooked on Mitsudomoe right now lol.
And Fender references in Kaichou wa Maido-sama? ****ing lol.
