joe cocker translated - woodstock

Sign in to disble this ad
In one band I am playing in, one of the singers confessed that she originally heard the opening line of joe cocker's woodstock version of "with a little help from my friends" as watch what you do with that slang attitiude.

a google search pulled up at least one other person on the globe who hear the same on a mishear lyrics forum. both of them heard it over and over as the theme song to the wonder years.

Another bandleader sent me this link after i told him. this video is..........just amazing.

OK it took me a while to reply- I had to get the tears out of my eyes I was laughing so hard. This is the first time I've seen this and it rocks. Thanks for sharing bro.

I can't load the link either, but I'm pretty sure it's this (or another video like it):

I've seen another version of the same thing at some point in the past. And yes, it's pretty funny.

The Joe Cocker vid used to be on Youtube but it was brought down. Good to have access to it again: thanks. It truly is one of the funniest things ever.
