After taking a break from being in bands for 3 years I finally got lucky enough to be in a band that knows what the hell they're doing. Since I just joined them a month ago and only have 2 practices with the band I only played one set each night (a previous bassist from the band filled in the other sets), but I was reminded of how much fun it was playing to a crowd of people. I had a couple hiccups here and there, since all but one or two of the songs I had never played until a month ago, but otherwise it went without a hitch. There were other issues as well, like the drummer and the fill in bassist splitting while the rest of us had to tear down everything, but I already can't wait to do it all over again this coming weekend.
