Probly only funny to those that have kids, but funny to me cause my teen is so literal, and thinks i just try to play music to annoy and embarrass him, while his brother thinks it's cool.
When i headed out to band practice with a Fender shirt on last night: 11yo says 'cool shirt mom', Teenager says 'you don't play a Fender'.

My 13-year-old daughter would dig it. My 7-year-old daughter would question why the brand name on my shirt didn't match the brand name on my bass (so would her mother ).
Thankfully, both my girls still think their dad being a musician is pretty cool. They'll grow out of it soon enough. |

My American Deluxe is EXTREMELY light. (then again i usually play a T-bird) But when i play my Fender (which i do for as many gigs as possible) I wear my Bullet strap (which is really heavy.) I have never thought that fender were heavy at all... As for the Teen how is is he/she? Im a teen and if my dad wore a Gibson shirt I would make fun of him (jokingly of course not seriously..) about it because he just sold his jimmy Page les paul |
