Laptop callous troubles!

Does anybody else find that their callouses make it so that when they go to click their touchpad on a laptop, it won't click?

It also makes a different sound when I use my left hand to click the touchpad. I just found this amusing, I'm a former guitarist so my callouses were never that bad before.

I had that issue with my old Toshiba satellite, but my new Lenovo laptop is fine. I think it's down to a really cheap touchpad.

Occasionally, yeah. My touchscreen phone does not like my calloused fingers at all. Thankfully the part of my thumb which I use for it most often isn't the calloused part.

From the subject line, I was afraid that you had debilatating callouses on your lap, maybe from playing sitting down. Glad this is all it is. Yeah, I have a little trouble with touchscreens and clickwheels.

I actually use lenovo - a T61. Though I'm trying to correct my left hand technique, and I feel like my fingers might soften a little once I start using it consistently.
