| Sure. The next time someone tells you to pre-stage your gear in an environment that cold you look at them and say:
"No. All the string instruments will go out of tune and all the amps that are cold on the inside will get significant internal condensation when they power up and warm."
It's a reasonable position to take. You can also keep the strings inside a heated vehicle until the show and run a cord to the amps to keep them turned on and warm.
How cold was "Very cold?"
I lunched a nice SVT years ago when it started to rain inside the chassis from condensation.
