haha it's so true though!

the number of times i've been playing while people are at my house and they walk into my room and go "oh you play guitar?" and then immediately leave when told it's a bass. i think it's because nobody recognizes bass lines, even ridiculously famous ones like "money" usually get the following reaction: "yea yea... ba baa ba ba.. what is that... yea.. baw ba baa ba... **** what is that?". where as everyone recognizes the guitar riffs and more importantly can sing along. :/

eh, at gigs a lot of people don't know the difference anyway. with that in mind it's easy to cash in on some of that same action.
