Hey guys, I need some good new music, and was hoping that you could post some of your stuff. It's hard to find some nice bass heavy songs and I guess this would be a good place to find some. Am I right?

Depends of what you mean by "bass heavy". It's TalkBass, not TalkHeavyBass or TalkLeadBass or whatever.
Here's my band website, you can listen to our low-budget demo.

Contemporary Punk. The bass is mixed too low but through headphones its fine.

I like to think we're pretty bass heavy. You be the judge!

Here's mine:

http://www.myspace.com/signalx

We are a 3-piece and many of the songs were written by me on the bass, so guitars are more textural and rhythmic rather than melody. The bass is quite upfront, as I'm not exactly shy and retiring there.

It's a slightly ODed bass sound played with a pick, so it comes across, all live track BTW.

I love "strong" basslines so I hope this will be enjoyable for you.

Here is my band.

I think the bass on "Consult with Humans" has a touch of Rush.
