Listening To A Song

Everytime I listen to a song, especially a Metallica one, i'm like addicted to singing the backing vocals outloud, since that is what I do in my band. Anyone else do this? (Not in public though of course )

O the heck with it.... On the way to school in the bus I sing along with ALL the vocals, it makes for a good laugh and lots of weird looks.
and I don't even have a band together yet...

Yeah I sing the vocal parts to songs I'm listening to a lot. I also do fingering patterns when I'm walking along or driving, either the left or the right hand. I get odd looks occassionally...

I try different harmonies, but I'm not too great at singing, so it sounds pretty bad.

I do that when I have my ipod and I'm walking my dog. Some odd looks come by when singing Foxy Lady and the bridge of Welcome to the Jungle when Axl does that 'thing'.

I (try to) sing the lead vocals most of the time, and if there's an instrumental break I'll sing the bass or guitar part. I just don't shut up.

I sometimes improvise my own drums fills while 'Ber-chika-bow-wow'-ing a improve bassline during a guitar solo when you can only hear the guitar, gotten a few compliments on my thumb-drumming.

We should have a sing-along-off type competiton, a person would post an mp3 or video of themselves singing along to their favourite tunes, and then once enough people have done this, the voting would begin. There would have to be some kind of tournament strucure too it.

I "sing" for my friends on the bus, and get weird looks.

And when ever I pick out an upright bass in anything that I'm listening to, I also pretend to play it, no matter how weird it looks.

+1 for the upright bass, during study hall we get to listen to classical music, so I pretend I'm playing an upright along with it when I have no homework. The teacher doesn't mind either.
