Cool a little story about tuning....

Guitar player says " man we was at this gig the other night and was just gonna go on and do the third set and we couldn't Billy the bass player .... why we looked all around the club he was nowhere to be found then Dave the drummer found Billy out back in the alley holding this guy by the throat... we says what's up Billy, why you upset ... he says this dude, right before we finished that last song at the last set ... he reached up and turned one of my tuning pegs, I'm so mad about this !!.... .. the other band guys says, hey man, chill out, that aint so bad, lets just go on and finish the gig.... and Billy says.... (wait for it...)......... yeah ....but he won't tell me which one aaaaargh !!!

sad, really I can usually pick out the out of tune string by playing them all and comparing the harmonics so this is a non issue, patrons will be assholes on occasion. learn how to tune...

and tune yourself better for the public, they are what they are and they PAY YOUR BILLS... (intended for Billy)

I remember reading that The Beatles used to do that to Paul's bass once in awhile to mess with him. Then when he'd hit his opening note they'd all crack up laughing. Oh, those wacky mop-tops!
