Ya know, I always thought this song was so cheezy it made "Every Rose has its Thorn" and "Patience" look, well, less cheezy.

Having now seen this video, I have come to realize it just plain sucks.

They're probably thinking "Thank god we don't have to play on this terrible song, but hey, we're still going to make bank on it.

Yup, pathetic.

To the tune of millions of dollars.

I love how every one is so superior to the guys that actually make music people want to hear.

...you can make fun of them right after YOU write a song that that many people want to pay money to hear.

...I remember when I was so cool...until I wised up.

Wrong.

You don't have to be a million-dollar rock star to have the right to criticize a band.

Also, just because a band is popular/makes a lot of money on a song, that doesn't mean the song is automatically good; look at Britney Spears or Justin Bieber--they make fat money, but would you say their songs are good?

At the same time, the song destroyed Extreme's credibility with the general public, which is sad because they have some other killer songs.

True.

Extreme kick ass when they're not pussyfooting around on acoustic guitars.

True, they are a great band, and I am a huge fan of theirs...but I dont think "More Than Words" killed their cred (although they want to blame it on that)...it was the follow-up album, Three Sides, that did them in....man, what a disappointment.
And by the time "Waiting for the Punchline" came out, they were over.

That kind of logic is absolutely hollow. Thus, movie critics should have no right to write reviews, nor to criticize a movie because most of them have never made a multi-million grossing blockbuster themselves.

Not to say I dislike the song, though

That should be inducted into the gay hall of fame. I seriously felt uncomfortable watching that.
