M-Day Weekend Gigs - Who's Got 'Em?

First band I've ever been in that actually played over Memorial Day and we've got three 1-nighters:

- Friday: Small-town bar, ~ 30 mile roundtrip

- Saturday: Small-town street dance (our first of the season), 240 mi RT, hoping for good weather as our spring so far has been abnormally windy, cold and wet.

- Sunday: Regional resort, 150 mi RT

I was supposed to play this charity event that takes place on the 30th floor of a building in downtown LA, but this just so happens to be the weekend Im going to Texas to retrieve a drum set.

Playing in san jose tomorrow, pico rivera saturday, and riverside sunday. My long time drummer friends and I got picked up by a mexican country band, think dwight yoakam and alan jackson in spanish. Our tour starts this weekend and goes to the end of november.

I see youre from El Paso. I would have tried to make one of your gigs, I live close to Pico and work not far from Riverside, but Im actually hopping on a bus to El Paso tonight and coming back on Monday.

My band, 5 Flavor Discount, is also playing Sunday night in Jamestown RI, near the beach. We play there every Memorial/labor Day sunday, its always a blast. I was supposed to do a fill in on Friday, but the rest of the band decided they didnt like each other anymore and broke up last week.

We're at Dockside Lounge in Lake Metigoshe North Dakota through Sunday. It's a resort town.

We are playing on Monday Memorial day at a new park in a small town. It's the town's community day's festival.

Saturday: Playing at 2 Doors Down in Maryville, TN (with a different band)

Sunday: Playing at a local festival called Boogie on the Bridge with 3 different bands.... which reminds me that I need to get a set list from one band and make one for another.

Crosstown is playing at Miciah's in Mooreville, NC on Sat. Still not sure how it's gonna go seeing that the NASCAR race is here this weekend.
