Here I am, taking my new amp head out of its box, plugging it the power outlet, bringing the cab, plugging a 1/4 inch cord in the back of said cab, and realizing the amp head only has Neutrik outputs.
And of course I do not own Neutrik cables.
And who will walk in GC holding an amp head he did not even buy there, because he has no clue what type of Neutrik cable to get?
(At the same time I will probably pick a rack bag with a 2U drawer.)

At any rate, Speakon is a standard thing, you don't need to lug an amp all the way to GC. Just bring the manual, it'll have enough info. |

I am glad I made a total ass of myself, but that's cool, I'm used to it.

I actually usually read the manuals for things I buy. For precisely the reason that I'm lazy and they might contain info that will save me from having to do extra work.

I think this is actually a good feature as some people just use instrument cables which are not really suitable, especially for large amps and this forces you to use proper "speaker cables"!
