Had one tonight. You know you just feel it and it doesn't matter what is thrown at you. We had a late start because the soundman didn't have any help and he had to do everything by himself. We ran very late so our first two songs was the soundcheck. Mind you we are a 6 piece band that can take up to 16-24 channels since we're all multi-instrumentalists and all sing. The mistakes that were made were covered up pretty well since me and the drummer are starting to stick. Despite the soundman issues throughout the night (he had a rough night with cable/amp issues) we never lost the crowd or ourselves. We covered parts that we sometimes don't have to and when the guitar player broke a couple of strings on a song we played on and left room for him to jump right back in. Me and our girl singer had to step up to the mics to fill space for equipment troubleshooting between two songs just in time for them to fix it and then come back strong to keep the groove going. I can go to bed smiling like the crowd smiled tonight.
