Major fail at my Bible study group

Sign in to disble this ad
So, a week or so ago I did a (voluntary) perfomance for my Bible study group.

Only problem is that I did it on guitar, an instrument I can just say play (>.<).

Bad idea. Not only did my bottom string break during the first song, I suddenly discovered I can't sing and play at the same time, at least not playing sight-read songs.

I fail.

please.

it's only a fail if you never do it again. otherwise, it's just the first try.

Unless you are a seriously accomplished musician, NEVER try something out for the first time in front of people you're supposed to be performing for.

On the bright side, this is a mistake you'll never make again.

Unless your name is Peter and you were a fisherman a long time ago, you don't really know fail. :-D

Just look at it the same way Edison did. You found one way NOT to perform.
Try again.

Strange thing is that I can play the same song on BASS and sing without a problem.

I'd played this song a million times before on bass...it seemed like a doddle playing it on guitar.

Am I missing something?

Anyway, that second bit is so true.

Peter was one of Jesus' closest disciples. Performed some fails that make yours seem pretty mild. I was trying to be witty and create a different perspective. Mini-fail? ;-P

Anyway, keep at it. It'll get better.

+1 to everything else
